Popular Tennis Clash mobile game developer serve up partnership with World TeamTennis Association

Wildlife, the developer of the world’s top tennis mobile game Tennis Clash, recently had their first-ever US partnership with World TeamTennis, the promoter of the WTT Celebrity All Stars which took place last February 29 to March 1 in Carlsbad, California.

The WTT Celebrity All Stars event officially kicked off WTT’s 45th season. Last weekend’s event featured Bob and Mike Bryan, Sam Querrey and Rio Olympics champion Monica Puig representing the Vegas Rollers with Ryan Harrison and Coco Vandeweghe of the San Diego Aviators. Other players who graced the event were Madison Keys of the Orlando Storm, Taylor Townsend of the Philadelphia Freedoms and player/coach Mardy Fish of the New York Empire.

Recently retired Maria Sharapova was also at the event to coach her team. In the end if was Team Bryan Brothers who triumphed over Team Sharapova 22-13 at the sold out venue of Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

Thanks to Tennis Clash being the most downloaded mobile game in 78 countries during its October 2019 launch, the game’s popularity with tennis enthusiasts worldwide has resulted in Wildlife becoming the first game company to sponsor the WTT Celebrity All-Stars event.

“This sponsorship is the debut of Tennis Clash at a sports competition and the beginning of a partnership between Wildlife and World TeamTennis,” said Mark Panelo, Vice President of Business Development at Wildlife. “We hope to bring more fans of the sport by allowing them to continue their tennis experience to their mobile phones.”

“Having a sponsor like Wildlife is important because Tennis Clash does a great job popularizing the sport by having millions of people playing the game on their mobile devices. Together, we can make tennis even more popular with the new generation,” adds Carlos Silva, CEO of WTT.

Developed by Wildlife through a series of detailed physics studies simulating the trajectory of the ball and other aspects of the game, Tennis Clash offers an experience that is very similar to a real tennis match, attracting not only mobile gamers, but also fans of the sport. Easy to learn, and difficult to master, players will put their abilities to the test through challenging matches, choose an athlete from a selection of characters with different nationalities and get ready to face adversaries from all over the world.

Tennis Clash was recently selected as one of Google Play’s ‘5 Best Competitive Games of 2019’, and is featured at #5 in the iOS Top Charts for Sports Games. Tennis Clash is available for download on the App Store and Google Play.
