Sixth-ranked Elena Rybakina will face number 47 Anhelina Kalinina for the title at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia in Rome. Here’s what’s at stake for Elena Rybakina in the WTA 1000 final.

Rybakina, the reigning Wimbledon champion, will face first time WTA 1000 finalist Kalinina. The latter could become the lowerst ranked player to win the Rome title in more than 35 years. As for Rybakina, this is yet another strong push to the higher echelons of the tennis rankings. The Kazakh tennis star has continued her stellar run this season so far which is highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Australian Open and Miami Open and a title run at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells.

Prize Money

The winner will get 1000 ranking points and a hefty €521,754 prize money. The runner up goes home with 650 ranking points and €272,200.

Rybakina will become world number four if she wins the title and will secure a fourth seeding at the Roland Garros tournament. A runner-up finish will still push her ranking to career high number five.
