Frenchwoman Marion Bartoli revealed that she used to date French tennis player Richard Gasquet during their junior years, when she was 16 years old. The Wimbledon 2013 champion was forced to make this admission after she lost a table tennis match and part of the “punishment” was for her to answer one of the questions directed to her.
Bartoli, 28, retired from professional tennis a month after winning the Wimbledon 2013 tournament citing that her body was too tired to attend to the rigors of the sport. A few weeks ago she hinted that a possible comeback is already in the works after re-committing her participating at the Hopman Cup 2014 tournament but changed her mind once more and stressed that the retirement is final.
Gasquet, on the other hand, is still an active player on the ATP Tour. The Frenchman reached the US Open 2013 semifinals before losing to eventual champion Rafael Nadal.
