Their most recent meeting was at the 2013 Australian Open with the Serbian world number one pushed to the limits in their fourth round tussle in Melbourne. Djokovic prevailed 1-6, 7-5, 6-4, 6-7(5), 12-10 in that match that left Wawrinka heartbroken.
