Swiss tennis superstar Roger Federer was reportedly spotted dining with his family in Dubai on Wednesday, September 25. (see article HERE)
According to the report, the 17-time Grand Slam champion had lunch at the popular Chinese restaurant Zheng He’s at Madinat Jumeirah. This development was shared by fellow diners.
“They looked very happy and really enjoyed the food,” one onlooker was quoted as saying. “They had the best table in the house.”
It seemed that Federer is taking a much needed break from tennis following his surprise fourth round exit at the recently concluded US Open Tennis Championships. The Swiss star is currently ranked fifth in the world but lags in seventh place at the standing for the year-end ATP World Tour Finals. Federer will next compete at the Shanghai Rolex Masters next month and aims to accumulate enough ranking points to qualify in London. He’s a six-time ATP World Tour Finals titlist.
